Final Exam for Math 141, Spring 1998
Final Exam
The final exam will be held on Fri., May 1, 11am-1pm. It will cover the
entire syllabus of Math 141, corresponding to Chapters 8-15 of Stewart,
except for Chapter 14. The exam will consist of 20 multiple choice
questions.
Students are urged to work through the sample exams prior to the actual
exam, as a way of becoming familiarized with the format of the exam and
as a way of studying for the exam. In addition, in Math 141 Lecture 1,
extra credit will be given for handing in the sample exams to the TA
prior to specified dates:
- Sample final exam #1 = F94 old final exam, by Friday, April 24.
- Sample final exam #2 = S97 old final exam, by Tuesday, April 28.
- Sample final exam #3 = S95 old final exam, by Tuesday, April 28.
- Sample final exam #4 = S96 old final exam, by Tuesday, April 28.
Location of exam:
The final exam will be not be held in the
usual class location. For Dr. Wu's class (Lecture 1), the location
will instead be Chem 102. The other two lecture sections of Math 141 will
take the same final exam, at the same time, but in other locations:
DRL A2 for Dr.Harbater's class (Lecture 3) and Meyerson B3 for Dr.
Tamvakis's class (Lecture 2). (The evening section of Math 141 will take
a different exam at a different time.)
Review session:
There will be a review session at 7pm on
Monday, April 27, for students in Math
141, Lecture 1.
Office hours:
Regular office hours will be held through the
week of April 20.
